Bat'leth blade

So my eyebrows raised a little bit when I read about a man who told police he had been attacked with a man with a machete on Sunday night.

Then I  realized the incident was not odd at all for our fair city. In May, a man was stabbed with a taillight shard and — in a story that happened in February that  we are still talking about –  a man robbed a 7-11 using a Klingon Bat’leth blade.

Of course, there are also those criminals who aren’t so creative. In April, a man tried to rob a Subway restaurant with his hand tucked into a jumpsuit, pretending it was a gun. The employee there didn’t buy it though and attacked the would-be robber with a creative weapon of his own: a sandwich knife. Turns out that wasn’t the best weapon either. The knife bent when the employee tried to stab the robber in the gut. The robber got away.
